So last night at John Fitch’s bachelor party, I look down to the end of the carpet and see someone that makes me stop and think to myself, I know her, I think? Yeah I do, well maybe not, oh hell I don’t know… Unknown to me, she is looking at me thinking the same thing.
After a few minutes of this I walk over and as I get closer I realize that I do in fact know her and at the same time, she realizes the same thing. We both laugh… while I try to cover up the look of Duh! on my face…
So who was this girl with a full film crew? It was Model and TV Personality Stephanie that I shot just last month. This is what happens when you get old, you start to forget things, even beautiful models. <headdesk>

So of course I make her pose on the red carpet for me as I do my test shot, she is way better looking than the other photographers there that normally stand in for test shots.

She will probably kill me for this but here’s another of her, interviewing UFC fighter John Fitch.

Been a while since I’ve updated, I apologize for that! I’m updating today with some photos taken of Stephanie..
Stephanie is a blast to be around. She has the energy of a small child and always brings different looks and attitudes to the shoot. She has the potential to do well here in the Las Vegas market!

Sometimes you never know what will happen on one of my photoshoots. I’ve had turtles, bighorn sheep, celeberties all show up at some of the wierdest times. Now I can add to that list, LIZARDs, or should I say, one HUGE Lizard.
While shooting Jelli down at the Colorado River I kept noticing her looking over my shoulder.

When I asked her why she just said, “because Godzilla is standing right behind you” So I think to myself, hmmmm she’s had too much sun or something. Anyways, I turn around and sure enough, there was this huge lizard behind me sunning himself on a rock.

The name chuckawalla (or chuckwalla) is derived from the Shoshone word "tcaxxwal" or "caxwal," the form used by the Cahuilla Indians of southeastern California and originally written in Spanish as "chacahuala." - San Diego Natural History Museum
Of course I had to call a break in the photoshoot to spend some time taking some shots of my new found friend who just happened to want to pose for some pictures. This is a male Chuckawalla about 18 inches long, answers to the name of Chuck, ok so that was a lame joke or maybe I just need a nap…
Sometimes I think I should stop calling them Photoshoots and start calling them Photo Safaris.
Introducing Jelli, this is a model that is taking Las Vegas by storm!

Some of the best body painters in the world turned out for the North American Body Paint Championship held here in Las Vegas over the weekend. Names like Mark Reid and Skin City Bodypaint were there creating art on models for the grand prize of $24,000 That would buy a lot of paint!
Here are some of the entries…

Ever wonder what goes into creating something like this? The model must stand there for up to 6 hours while being painted. They need to be carful not to move while the artist is working or the design may get ruined. After all that time standing there being painted, they then have to another hour or two of photo shoots to do. And the day’s not over yet, after the photo shoots are done it’s time to take the stage and display the work to the audience.
Here is a short video of one of the models being painted and then on stage.

Another talented Las Vegas Artist I have the pleasure of working with from time to time is Robin Barcus of Skin City Body Painting. She can turn a normal human being into a work of art.

Robin is a multi talented artist meaning she not only does body painting, she also designs her own dresses, paints murals, she can turn just about anything or anyone into art.
And now it appears that her work is being recognized in Europe too. Here is a magazine we found from Romania that features Robin and her State Of Dress Project as well as one of my shots of Robin wearing the Poker Chip Dress that represents Nevada. This is a 5 page spread that also includes some of her work turning everyday objects into wearable art.

Casino’s are starting to interview girls for positions for poolside servers and hostesses.
With the economy being what it is there are more girls than ever applying for these jobs so make sure you have the edge with great pictures to send them so when they look over the responses they pick YOU for an interview.

A few hints…
Hit the gym, tone up and loose those few extra pounds that you may have gained during the winter.
Don’t send them last years pictures and show up looking different.
Send only classy shots, these positions are for girls that will represent the casinos, they are not looking for glamour, FHM or trashy girls so don’t send them pictures that look like that.
Click here to email me and let’s get started on getting you the pictures you need to be competitive.

After the fight as I was leaving I noticed a familiar face down on the casino floor of the Hard Rock Casino. As I got closer I realized that it was Amy, one of the models that used to hang out at my studio a few years ago.

She is an awesome model, hard working and she has a great attitude. If you are looking for a sexy blackjack dealer and a one that is also a professional model so you can brag to your friends that you played with a model in Vegas and won, head on down to the Hard Rock and look for Amy.
Amy, circa 1996
