2010 Annual Donny Osmond Get Together, August 6th and 7th! Fans had nothing but fun under the Las Vegas sun with exclusive opportunities with Donny including their chance to have a group photo with him outside the Flamingo Hotel and Casino taken by Las Vegas Photographer Dave Proctor.

Some of the other activities that fans was able to join Donny on were, a Donny guided tour of Hoover Dam, an exclusive dinner party hosted by Donny, catered by The Flamingo’s Paradise Garden Buffet, an aerobic workout with Donny and his personal trainer Adam Gentz (Hamster) and a private poolside party at the Flamingo Lagoon Pool with Hors d’oeuvres like risotto crab cake, applewood smoked chicken breast, chicken and steak sliders.

One thing about blogs that has always made be crazy was the fact that it was hard if not impossible to display large files in such a way that people can view the details of the image. Screen width and image theft are the two reasons most pictures are so hard to see.

As you already might know, starting with Photoshop CS3 you could export your large images to Zoomify and it would automatically tile your image, create your folders and also create your HTML code so viewers could zoom in on your image from your website.

For those of you that do not use Photoshop CS3 and newer you can still use Zoomify since they offer a free stand alone version. You can get that HERE if you need it.

However, the problem up till now has been a way to view Zoomify exports from within WordPress. This is no longer a problem.

By using the WordPress plugin called “Shadowbox JS” you can configure your Zoomify page to display from within WordPress as easy as cooking a TV Dinner.

Comedian Vinnie Favorito, renowned celebrity roaster and professional smart alec, recently celebrated his five-year anniversary of headlining shows on the Las Vegas Strip for Harrah’s Entertainment.

On May 27, Vinnie celebrated his 5th year with Harrah’s with a number of  Las Vegas Stars. After a special invitation only show everyone  gathered at Sin City Brewing Co inside the Flamingo, Las Vegas.

The picture booth was a nice touch, especially after everyone had a few drinks in them from the open bar.

Most comedians repeat the same stuff over and over again with each show, Not Vinnie, he does not use a script or a routine so each show is different than the last.

If you want to see a show you will remember, check out Vinnie, just be warned, you may want to visit the restroom before the show. Vinnie takes no responsibility for wet pants…

Music legends Emilio and Gloria Estefan were hornored today with a Star by the Las Vegas Walk of Stars at a dedication ceremony on Apr. 29 at Rio Vegas. Their star will be installed outside Flamingo Las Vegas.

Two titans of comedy joined forces at Flamingo Las Vegas on Mar. 23. Resident comedy giant George Wallace welcomed special guest Chris Tucker onstage for some twisted comedy stylings.

Chris Tucker is perhaps best known for his work in the “Rush Hour” trilogy. His turn as James Carter earned him superstardom, and turned the buddy movie genre on its head with his charming chemistry with action star Jackie Chan.

The legendary George Wallace wins over audiences at Flamingo at 10:00 nightly.

Some of the best body painters in the world turned out for the North American Body Paint Championship held here in Las Vegas over the weekend.  Names like Mark Reid and Skin City Bodypaint were there creating art on models for the grand prize of $24,000  That would buy a lot of paint!

Ever wonder what goes into creating something like this?  The model must stand there for up to 6 hours while being painted. They need to be carful not to move while the artist is working or the design may get ruined. After all that time standing there being painted, they then have to another hour or two of photo shoots to do. And the day’s not over yet, after the photo shoots are done it’s time to take the stage and display the work to the audience.
