Erik Estrada hosted Tacos & Tequila’s (T&T) “12 Hours of Cinco de Mayo”  it was an action-packed event featuring lively entertainment, “Cock-a-Doodle Duels” and the search for T&T’s “Miss Hot Tamale.”

You know you have been at this too long when the people you are supposed to take pictures of, instead want you to pose with them.  I think the hat was a nice touch, don’t you?

Sometimes when I think I have seen it all, something else happens to let me know that I have indeed NOT seen it all yet.

On assignment at the Luxor Casino, I stopped into Tacos and Tequila to cover the first of a new weekly event. Human Rooster Fighting!  Who would have thought?

The object is to pop the other “Roosters” balloons before he/she can pop yours, all while wearing chicken feet and a rooster mask.  Rules are you can’t use your hands, only your feet.

If you get a chance on a Wednesday night, stop into Tacos and Tequila, have a few drinks and sit back and watch some of the most funniest action around. However, be careful about what you say, the “Roosters” are customers so if you want, you too can put on your best strut and cluck and see if you are the King Rooster of the night.

Singer and Songwriter Wynter Gordon made an appearance at LAX last night. After posing for me for a few photos she performed a few songs for the party goers and got everyone up and dancing to her latest work.

She wrote the song “Gonna Breakthrough” for Mary J. Blige’s album The Breakthrough, and two songs for Danity Kane’s second album Welcome to the Dollhouse, “2 of You” and “Do Me Good”. She is currently writing for Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna.

I was invited to photograph Kristy Swanson’s 40th birthday at LAX last night. She was the original Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She also won Dancing with Stars.

There were no Vampires there to slay however she did do some dancing, not that I could keep up with but it was fun to watch.
